Below are two links. The first is to an article that appeared in the New York Times on August 13, 2008. The second is to an episode of Wired Science that aired on October 10, 2007. They each address coordinated cyberattacks against the Internet infrastructure of two countries who have been in conflict with Russia with in the past year (Georgia and Estonia). Pretty scary stuff.

Below is an email with the attached photo that my sister sent me a few days ago:
We had such a good time tonight! I wish you could have been here! I am sending you some pics. Please don’t ask what Poppy got you for Christmas because I will just tell you to follow your nose when looking at the pictures for clues.
Love you
Dolly Ann

Now all we need is a flat piece of cardboard and a boom box and the Funky Fresh Criscoe Kids are in business!

Below are two links. The first is to an Art: 21 interview with Mark Bradford on Politics, Process and Postmodernism that I thought was really interesting. The second is to the Robert Therrien show at Gagosion. Hope you enjoy.

When Patrick Ellie and I took a trip to Asheville I snapped a few pics of this outdoor market. I though it was a great design that not only provided a place for an impromptu market to be set-up but also created shade for those relaxing at the adjacent cafe. Simple, smart and effective; that equals good design in my book. Maybe we can get a few of these installed downtown in Morgan Square to curb the intensity of the afternoon sun and to also provide a place for the local boiled peanut vendors to hawk their tasty wares.
